You’re leading your technologically connected life without a care in a world, then boom, you get that soul-destroying notification. “Storage almost full”. It’s a heartbreaking moment only made worse by the fact you’ve got to sit there and manually delete selfie after selfie in hopes of replenishing your GB’s.
Well, here’s some good news for those who have penchant for overloading their iPhones. Apple may soon be ditching the 16GB model and start new iPhone’s at a minimum of 32GB storage. Nice one.
According to The Wall Street Journal, the next iPhone will come with 32GB, 128GB and 256GB storage. This is possibly due to rumoured camera improvements that will accompany the new models.
With the world downloading more content and taking more photos and videos than ever before, it’s a wonder that Apple had hung onto the 16GB model for so long.
As the Apple rumour mill continues to churn we won’t know if our storage woes will be solved until Apple formally introduces the new model towards the end of this year. Stay tuned.
