Margot Robbie & Cara Delevingne Embrace 80s Glam For ‘LOVE’ Magazine

Full screen

Suicide Squad co-stars Margot Robbie and Cara Delevingne do their best 80s impressions in the latest issue of LOVE Magazine. Neither lady was alive for the decade, but eh… who’s counting?

Margot and Cara’s twin covers are for LOVE’s “Mean Girls” issue, a theme befitting the anti-hero evildoers they play in the upcoming film. The duo embrace everything 80s – from polka dot scarves to hoop earrings to overly-defined lipliner and gravity-defying hair – while sporting pieces from Balenciaga, Vetements, Vivienne Westwood, and Saint Laurent. Miraculously, they make a decade that fashion forgot look good.

The photos and accompanying video, both shot by Willy Vanderperre, were inspired by the first concert attended by LOVE’s editor-in-chief, Katie Grand, as a teenager. Grand writes:

“The first concert I ever went to was The Belle Stars… We were everything, we knew the words to every Belle Stars song and we could take on the world… Strangely this issue is an ode to my young teenage years. Cara and Margot ARE me…”

Behold the retro glam photos above and the playful video (set to The Belle Stars’ “Sign of the Times”) below.
