Jesus Christ that’s Jason Bourne. With a pony tail.
Cool dad Matt Damon has returned to the big screen following the premiere of Jason Bourne. In his latest role the 45-year-old actor plays an elite soldier in China who makes a stand against a formidable army of beasts. The proving ground? China’s Great Wall which was built to keep these beasts at bay.
The unique fantasy film sees Damon starring in Zhang Yimou’s first-ever English production and the largest one ever in China at that.
Funnily enough, the trailer stipulates that it was based loosely on a “true story”. Righto then, China.
The film also stars a cavalcade of the U.S and China’s most distinguished actors including Andy Lau, Jing Tian, Pedro Pascal, Willem Dafoe, Hanyu Zhang and more.
The Great Wall will hit cinemas on February 17, 2017.
