A bit of distressed is best this season. But, not the dragged-through-dirt kinda ripped jeans. Or you-need-to-buy-a-new-shirt-mate kinda basic tee.

Russian designer Gosha Rubinchisky‘s released a garment dyed shirt jacket in inky navy camo for a worn in military worn in cool, paired casually with some of the most affordable selvedge denim jeans on the market – merci, Cotton On, with a vintage wash and subtle wear and tear.

Valentino puts a new twist on the cotton sweater with a purply blue tie-dye top, washed out a few times to soften the psychedelic print, Tommy Hilfiger‘s Breton t-shirt is a timeless garment given the faded treatment, while Country Road’s khaki jogger pants are lightly worn in, perfectly retro looking and a must-wear with Alpha Industries vintage NASA bomber jacket.

Just add Nike‘s new white kicks with back brogue detailing. But keep these guys so-fresh-and-so-clean. No distressing needed.
