Layers aren’t just for winter. This weekend’s shopping edit is packed full of pieces to make layering a breeze, whether it’s 15 or 30 degrees.
Start with a staple cotton t-shirt – long sleeve and striped – like the marsala and navy crew neck from Uniqlo. An overshirt – like the garment-dyed mauve button-down from Only NY – in brushed cotton for textural contrast pairs perfectly as transitional-season layering. Team with Stampd‘s brushed wool chino with ribbed waistband and tonal drawstrings in charcoal, to balance out the colour up top.
Ermenegildo Zegna has dropped one of the hottest shearling bomber jackets out – black-on-black with subtle grey flecks through the fleece-y collar – perfect as a casual outerwear piece for layer. Finish it off with plum suede boots from Bottega Veneta (or a clean white pair of Thom Browne‘s Gamme Bleu sneakers for Moncler) and a indigo-dyed, floral-ochre print scarf form RRL to block the wind. Now, that’s an outfit that allows you to peel pieces on and off, for when the temperature doesn’t know what it’s doing. But your style does.
