The dating app which revolutionised the way gay men embark on sexy times has branched out into the fashion world.
Grindr the label boasts a 29-piece line entitled ‘The Varsity Collection’ and focuses primarily on athleisure with a locker room influence.
This means tight and short fitting sportswear given the mandatory splash of Summer hues alongside intricate print patterns created by design studio, Print All Over Me. Most threads are designated with the ‘G’ moniker to ensure the app’s brand allegiance across different platforms remain intact.
For their first collection, men will get to choose from tank tops, tees, high-cut shorts and swimming trunks with proceeds from all sales going to Athlete Ally, a charity supporting LGBTQ athletes.
This isn’t the first time Grindr has diversified its services into an area other than its digital app space. The American tech company had previously sold premium Madonna tickets as well as partnering with fashion label J.W. Anderson to stream the brand’s FW16 runway show exclusively on the app before it was officially unveiled.
The Grindr fashion collection is now on sale at the app’s online store.
