River Island is one of those high-street brands that seems to have all its bases covered, whether you’re a style trailblazer or a more conservative fashion follower, and this season is no different.
Shot on location at Pier 59 Studio in New York by photographer Emma Summerton and styled by the great Edward Enninful, River Island’s Autumn/Winter 2016 campaign is all about the concept of polaroids – a stylish range of snapshots that perfectly capture the season’s key trends.
A little sporty, a little rock ‘n’ roll, River Island AW16 has your winter wardrobe sorted with ease. Highlights from the collection include a comfy long-line blazer layered over a hoodie and drop-crotch trousers with sneakers, black jeans with busted knees made formal with a tweed blazer and collared shirt, a faux-fur bomber worn with sockless brogues and a plaid-on-plaid red and black look that is both badass and perfect for the cooler months.
“Our in-house design team have curated a solid Autumn/Winter collection across women’s and menswear made up of sophisticated casual separates, eveningwear and trend led accessories,” says River Island’s Marketing Director Josie Roscop. “For the coming season we continue to promote our primary values of being distinctively stylish, whilst remaining fun and confident in all aspects of the business, allowing us to deliver a fresh campaign to our consumers.”
