That tough in-between season has officially begun. In the Southern Hemisphere, spring is kicking off and the office feels even more claustrophobic than usual. In the Northern Hemisphere, warm weather is gasping its last dying breaths before autumn fully hits. In either case, we’re looking to make the most of the agreeable climate and this week’s best travel Instagrams should provide plenty of inspiration.
We’d happily shack up with Glacier Under Canvas, a luxury camping outfit in the wilds of Montana. Or stretch out in a beachfront hammock at The Exile in Indonesia. Or watch the sunset from Club Med La Plantation d’Albion in Mauritius. Each establishment has a totally different vibe, but with photos this dreamy, we’re 100% on board with any one of them.
Beach bums have a plethora of options this week. There’s the Mediterranean waters of Antalya, Turkey and the epic ocean waves outside of Cape Town, South Africa. There’s a sky-high view of the coast of Baja California. There are the golden cliffs of Praia da Marinha, one of the best beaches in Europe.
Inland, our Instagram adventures pass through the venerable streets of Kyoto and the cactus carpet of the Grand Canyon. User @amyebanksy discovered the hidden Peruvian oasis of Huacachina, a small village nearly swallowed by sand dunes. Simone Bramante captured the colourful and idyllic city of Trondheim, Norway. Irada Gadirova gives us a rare peek into life in Azerbaijan, while Cory Richards offers a similarly rare glimpse of Antarctic terrain.
Sorry Cory, as beautiful as all that ice is, the Indonesian hammock remains slightly more compelling…
