Following from the premise that Arnold Schwarzenegger and Danny Devito pioneered way back in the 80s, the new H&M campaign sees the sports icon and businessman going on a trans-American trip with his equally short comedian friend.
Talking about their latest campaign together, Beckham revealed that he “loved shooting the first campaign with Kevin for H&M so much.”
“We just had to do a sequel. This time we’ve pushed the story even further. I hope everyone likes it, we certainly enjoyed filming it.”
The road trip follows the pair from sunny Los Angeles to the bright lights of Vegas where Hart is supposedly taking on the lead role for the stage show, I, Beckham: The Musical.
It sounds so preposterous it’s actually funny and a good move on H&M’s half for recruiting the two stars of their respective field.
Hart was a little more confident in his newfound craft. “It’s great to have the opportunity once more to show the world what everyone really knows, that I am the true inspiration for David Beckham’s style. He copies everything from me.”
The latest campaign is directed by Frederik Bond who was the same guy responsible for H&M’s last two Beckham x Hart commercials featuring pieces from the Modern Essentials collection curated by David Beckham.
