We can’t get enough of the adventure inspiration that Instagram’s photographers share on their feeds. Who cares if some are just bragging about their first class upgrades and swanky resort stays? Or blatantly thirst trapping with bikini bottoms and carefully placed pineapples? We’ll take inspo wherever we can get it, and we’re bringing you the best in this week’s round-up of trending travel Instagrams.

We start in Tanzania, where Karina Sell took an enchanting swim at the Four Seasons Safari Lodge Serengeti. A pool overlooking an elephant herd? Where do we sign up? From there we head to Alaska – not the first destination that comes to mind for surfers, though Chris Burkard makes the waves look unexpectedly inviting.

The waters are bound to be warmer in Indonesia, where Mamad Wijaya captured a man paddling through the Green Canyon. The majestic river valley looks like it hopped straight from the pages of National Geographic. If jungle isn’t your style, perhaps you’d prefer the crystal clear, turquoise Indian Ocean around the Maldives. Louis Cole visited Baros Maldives for an ultra-remote remote getaway that has us tinged just a little green with envy.

All that swimming and surfing and paddling is bound to work up and appetite. For that, we turn to @GirlEatWorld. This week, she’s rustled up a tasty treat on the streets of Saigon. Anyone else suddenly craving Vietnamese?
