Patek Philippe are celebrating the 40th anniversary of one of its most enduring timepieces, the Nautilus, with two brand new releases.
Reference 5711/1P will represent the three handed Nautilus model featuring a date window at 3 o’clock with special 40th anniversary markings embossed onto a blue dial at the 6 o’clock mark. A platinum 40mm case finishes this clean and simple looking piece off beautifully.
Reference 5976/1G is the sturdier chronograph version and the hero piece of the pair. Coming in a limited number of 1,300 pieces, the same 40th anniversary stamp with the years ‘1976-2016’ will also be featured on this model. Besides the chronograph counter, the hour markers are also adorned with princess-cut and baguette diamonds for that extra bit of extravagance.
The case of the chronograph Nautilus is set in 18K white gold and measures in at a heftier 44mm. This model affords a power reserve of 55 hours.
The 40th Anniversary Nautilus Ref: 5976/1G will retail for AU$118,000 whilst the 5711/1P will set punters back a cool AU$149,000.
