In the world of keeping up with the Joneses, it helps if your humble abode is actually called Great Jones.
What makes this place so ‘great’ isn’t just the name though. The project headed by designers at Union Studio took what was essentially a gutted factory in NoHo and turned the entire top level into the textbook contemporary New York loft you see before you. The colour theme of the space is a classic black and white influence which leaves out the starkness with a dazzling array of patterns and textures to keep inhabitants intrigued.
The centrepiece of course is the floor to ceiling bookshelf which extends across an entire wall just behind a library-inspired dining table. Food and books appears to be the idea behind this bold move. Given you’re not shy, the open space flows into the main bedroom with city skyline facing views and one of the coolest wardrobe-bathroom setups we’ve ever seen.
