It looks like Hollywood hasn’t gotten the message yet: Stop messing with extraterrestrial life forms and they’ll leave the human race alone. On another note, it does make for one riveting sci-fi thriller and that’s exactly what ‘Life’ is.
The film stars two of the moment’s leading men, Jake Gyllenhaal and Ryan Reynolds alongside Rebecca Ferguson who are on board the International Space Station with a newly discovered life form from Mars.
Things naturally go pear-shaped when the visitor reveals that it’s more intelligent than the crew first assumed, quickly turning their discovery mission into a survival one.
The film directed by Swedish film maker Daniel Espinosa also stars Hiroyuki Sanada and Olga Dihovichnaya. It will arrive in theatres on May 2017.
