TAG Heuer made a serious statement in the watchmaking world earlier this year when they became the first Swiss brand to take on the surging smartwatch segment.
To further their tradition of avant-garde watchmaking into a relatively new medium, TAG Heuer have just released a rose gold version of the Connected to ensure the watch remains one of the most classically inspired timepieces of modern times.
The watch hardware packs the same punch as the standard model with input from both Intel and Google to get the most out of the device. That means a multitude of connectivity options including GPS, audio streaming, Bluetooth and Wi-Fi all packed within a 46 mm brushed rose gold-titanium case.
Naturally, instead of power reserves and dials and movements, the rose gold Connected sports 4GB of memory and a latest-generation lithium battery providing an entire day of autonomy. There’s also a built-in microphone which enables services to be activated via Google Voice control alongside a sapphire crystal touchscreen and command push button at 3 o’clock.
As the Connected was designed to be an everyday timepiece, it bears the IP67-certified water resistant rating ensuring the watch stays safe and functional in low water conditions.
Users have the option to change and download multiple dial designs to ensure that no one Connected piece is the same whilst the rose gold finishings exudes masculine elegance.
TAG Heuer have even future-proofed the device, giving buyers a two-year warranty which concludes with the option of exchanging the device for a conventional Swiss-Made Carrera Calibre 5 mechanical watch. To find out more, visit Connected.
