Left hand collectives will be receiving an early Christmas gift with the arrival of the Tudor Pelagos LHD, a watch released specifically for the left-handed aficionados of diving watches.
The ‘LHD’ stands for Left Hand Drive and sees the crown moving from the right side of the case to the left. The rest of the Pelagos workings are essentially identical to the existing model which presents itself as a modern technical dive watch.
The movement is looked after by Tudor’s in-house calibre MT5612 which drives the hours, minutes, seconds and a date window with alternating black/red numbers at the 3 o’clock index. This movement is housed in a beautifully machined 42mm titanium and steel case with a satin finish. To enhance the masculine look even further, the Pelagos utilises a matte ceramic bezel which pairs nicely with the black dial adorned with luminescent coated markers.

To live up to its diving roots, the Pelagos sports a hefty 500m water resistance along with a 70 hour power reserve. That means if you happen to lose your watch to the bottom of the sea, you have just over 2 days to find it without losing timing accuracy – a feat easier said than done.
For multiple duties in and out of the water, the Pelagos comes paired with a titanium bracelet with folding clasp and safety catch in steel with bracelet extension system developed and patented by TUDOR. A spare rubber strap with buckle and extra extension piece also comes in the box.
