The sneakers are in for another week and it’s a serious compilation of winners.

Besides designers like Alexander Wang jumping on board and Common Projects’ 2017 collection looking after the high end space, the rest of the sneaker space is currently being fought out amongst some truly iconic releases from Nike and Adidas.

First up has to be the Nike Vapor Max, a shoe that literally came out a week ago and has already sprouted up to four different colourways. Our pick is something different – a red and black number which drastically messes with the Vapor Max lines in all the right ways. Elsewhere for the Swoosh team it’s Air Max Zeroes in silver, Prestos in monochrome, the Flyknit Racer’s successor and the return of the iconic Air Max 97 in gold.

Over at the three stripes customisation is king with SneakersNBonsai giving the Iniki Runner Boost the BAPE treatment. Absolute killer design on a sweet silhouette that will have heads turning.

Another notable drop from Adidas is an Alexander Wang collection which has polarised crowds. Are they progressive? Are they moon boots? Neither. They’re meant to be basketball shoes. Your call.

Our pick of the week from Adidas though has to be the City Sock NMD_CS2 “Ronin” pack. Clean lines, navy hues and intricate embroidery makes this one a winner and highly versatile to wear.
