Ryan Reynolds Is Back In Red For First ‘Deadpool 2’ Teaser

He’s baaaaack! After Deadpool raked in more than $700 million at the box office, fans have been dying to see Ryan Reynolds suit up again as the world’s most foul-mouthed superhero.

The wait will soon be over. A teaser for Deadpool 2 has been airing in cinemas ahead of X-Men spin-off Logan, and now Reynolds himself has uploaded the short to YouTube for the world to see.

The clip, called ‘No Good Deed’, takes aim at other popular superheroes. Deadpool’s alter ego Wade Wilson has a Superman moment when he dashes into a phone booth to change into his outfit after witnessing a mugging. He also takes on Wolverine with an iffy impression of Hugh Jackman’s Aussie accent.

Fans of Deadpool’s absurdist sense of humour will not be disappointed. The end credit sequence skips naming the cast and crew in favour of displaying a fast-scrolling book report on Ernest Hemingway’s The Old Man and the Sea, and the video’s YouTube description reads simply “Wade and the other girls from the Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants plan a trip to Cabot Cove.”

Eagle-eyed viewers have already noticed Easter eggs hidden throughout the short. Keep an eye out for a Firefly reference and Marvel’s Stan Lee making a cameo.

Deadpool 2 is set to premiere in March 2018
