Belstaff Present Their Newest Japanese-Made Eyewear Collection

Belstaff is showing off its latest eyewear collection which continues the British label’s tradition of quality and innovation through fine craftsmanship.

Relying on some of the most advanced materials on the market such as ultra-lightweight beta titanium, every pair from the collection is handmade in Japan to ensure exacting construction to faithfully reflect Belstaff’s iconic jackets and vintage styles.

Helping to bring these new pieces to the market is eyewear distribution giant, Imatta, who will have exclusive rights to the stylish eyewear range for a decade. This bold move will ensure that Belstaff can expand their eyewear business across the globe whilst retaining the adventurous spirit of its heritage outerwear and clothing line.

The new collection which will launch in spring 2017 will be available around the world in Belstaff stores, selected department stores, fashion and travel retail locations, as well as independent optical boutiques.

“We have achieved great success in establishing ourselves as a company known for our product quality and selective distribution in the optical and sunglass marketplace,” said Joshua Matta, CEO of Imatta.

“Belstaff is a global lifestyle brand, committed to design and quality, which will fit perfectly within our portfolio of brands.”

“Through our new partnership with Imatta, we will offer a compelling eyewear collection to our customers and develop and strengthen our position as a modern British heritage brand. We are confident that this partnership will be a great success,” added Gavin Haig, CEO of Belstaff.
