Biolite Smokeless FirePit
Create the fire without the smoke. That’s essentially what the new BioLite FirePit does, albeit with more functionality and practicality packed in than ever. The smokeless feature works by employing a small battery-powered fan which blows air into the fire to create a secondary combustion that burns the wood and smoke. The result? A hot and efficient flame with almost zero smoke. Users can also use the FirePit to cook food with the accompanying grill top. BioLite claims that the unit can provide up to 24 hours of smokeless burning per charge. And because the flame intensity is now controlled with the fan, an app can be used to control the heat via a Bluetooth connection to a smartphone. Take that, Bear Grylls.
