The signature design reach of QT Hotels & Resorts is continuing to expand and this time it’s borrowing the breath-taking landscape of Queenstown, New Zealand.
Officially opened from the 1st of December 2017 (that’s today), the latest chapter in the QT journey will feature contemporary design, luxury appointments and a scenic backdrop to boot across 69 guest rooms and professional facilities.
Guests will be able to enjoy the sights of the crystal clear lake and magnificent peaks of the Southern Alps which is a mainstay of the Queenstown setting and its surrounding virgin landscapes.
Moving inside will reveal an equally appealing aesthetic of a different nature. Nic Graham who has led the design of the QT look since 2011 will once again bring a unique clash of vintage and modern interior design to deliver unprecedented levels of luxury and comfort into Queenstown.
There’s even a sophisticated food and drinks venue with the QT foodie paradise known as Bazaar Interactive Marketplace and Reds Cocktail Bar all joining the new hotel.
For the design tragic, there’s custom QT furniture in the cocktail bar which also includes plush Eames-era chairs and bold wall graphics. It is expected that both wine connoisseurs and mixologists will naturally gravitate to the new bar.
