Call him the renaissance man, call him a late bloomer or just call him Seth Rogen 2.0. Whichever it is there’s no denying that Seth Rogen has reinvented himself as one of today’s most unassuming male style forces – and he proved it wasn’t a fluke at CinemaCon in Las Vegas this week alongside his latest co-star, Charlize Theron.
The 36-year-old actor showed up to the red carpet in a very clean black suit perfectly fitted to Rogen’s slimmed down frame. The details were in the shirt and tie though with an eccentrically patterned black dress shirt featuring fluorescent geometrics paired to an equally loud floral tie with a hint of paisley – weird but just the right amount of quirky for one of Hollywood’s most popular comedic actors today. The polished black leather boots are also worth mentioning here as is Rogen’s relaxed coiffed hair and cool reading glasses.
Whoever Rogen’s new stylist is, they’re certainly doing a fine job of allowing the man to grow into a more mature and sophisticated look…compared to the perennial stoner one, anyway.
Here was Rogen just a few weeks ago at SXSW alongside Theron. The pared down blue suit worn with a tee and sneakers was on point and marked the arrival of a Seth Rogen we’re now proud to follow. Here’s hoping he can also rope in his good buddy James Franco for a cool transformation as well.
