A report by Pornhub and Youporn statisticians, in collaboration with Swiss newspaper 20 Minuten, sheds light on which body parts are most lusted over in different corners of the world. Using anonymous data analytics, the report reveals some fascinating trends that are sure to settle the great debate once and for all…
At first glance, the data suggests that boobs are more popular in the northern hemisphere, while butts are more beloved in the south. However, when the data is examined at a continental level, it becomes clear that the eastern hemisphere prefers boobs, while the West has a preference for butts.
The report also includes an interactive heat map that provides a country-by-country breakdown of which body parts are most searched for. Interestingly, there is a higher concentration of boob-related searches in Europe, particularly in the north. Finland, in particular, ranks third in the world for the highest concentration of boob-related searches.
Conversely, the highest concentration of butt-related searches occurs in Africa, with Tanzania, Ghana and Djibouti (no, we’re not kidding – sometimes the jokes just write themselves) topping the list. Some countries in Europe, such as Iceland and the Netherlands, also show a high proportion of butt-oriented searches.

In Eastern Europe, it appears that legs are the main attraction. In fact, Poland takes the top spot worldwide for searches related to legs. Other countries in the region such as Lithuania, the Czech Republic, Bulgaria and Hungary also rank high, with leg-related searches taking the 3rd to 6th places respectively.
On an unexpected note is… Women who are expecting. Pregnant women seem to be a popular search topic in Southeast Asia and Oceania. The Solomon Islands tops the list, followed by Lesotho and Papua New Guinea. Malaysia comes in at 8th place, Indonesia at 12th, and China at 26th worldwide.
Never ones to be far from the centre of any sexual debate, the report also reveals that there are lots of closet foot fetishists out there. Countries in the Middle East, such as Syria, Jordan, and Iran, rank highest in the world for searches related to big feet and cute toes… If Quentin Tarantino ever finds himself wanting to emigrate from the US, these could be some potential contenders.
Indeed, that may be the most important takeaway from this report: though porn viewership is somewhat problematic and, unsurprisingly skyrocketing as an ever greater proportion of the population becomes au fait with the internet and all its darkest corners, its comforting to know that whatever your sexual proclivities, you’ll never be alone in desiring them.
