From Billionaire Boys Club, to Ice Cream Footwear, adidas Originals, Louis Vuitton and G-Star RAW, Pharrell Williams loves fashion and more specifically, a good collaboration. This time around, the “busiest man in showbiz” is lending his distinctive eye for style to fashion house Chanel.
To tease the upcoming collaboration, Chanel recently launched a behind-the-scenes video of Pharrell visiting Chanel its Métiers d’art you can check out above.
“Last March, a few days after attending the Fall-Winter 2016/17 Ready-to-Wear show at the Grand Palais, the multi-talented artist spent a day with the craftsmen whose expertise and skill are unique to the Métiers d’art of CHANEL.
“Through the exceptional work of the embroiderer Lesage, the feathers and flowers maker Lemarié, the pleater Lognon, the shoe maker Massaro and the hat maker Maison Michel, Pharrell Williams was able to plunge to the very heart of their creative processes and take part in the creation of these unique pieces from the Métiers d’art in Paris in Rome 2015/16 collection.”
Stay tuned for the collection, but not for long as the Pharrell X Chanel collaboration will apparently be available in boutiques from June 2016.
