You Can Now Stay In The Eiffel Tower's Luxury UEFA Euro 2016 Apartment

UEFA Apartment

It appears the dream of living in the Eiffel Tower isn’t so far off after all. Holiday rental company HomeAway have teamed up with advertising firm Saatchi & Saatchi to create the ‘Eiffel Tower All Yours’ experience for the upcoming UEFA EURO 2016 European football tournament.

Lucky guests will get to experience the Parisian landmark like never before by staying overnight in a temporary apartment fitted out by French interior designer Benoit Leleu. The space itself will borrow the Gustave Eiffel Reception Room to become a 185-square-metre apartment.

The exclusive pad will be available only for four single night stays which kicks off June 23rd and extends to the 28th and July 4th and 8th. The maximum capacity for each group stay will be limited to six people and includes a gourmet dinner, roundtrip airfares and three extra nights stay at one of  HomeAway’s luxury Parisian apartments.

Keen for a stay with the buddies? Hold your horses. Lucky guests will be chosen via a competition which requires them to answer the simple question in 140 characters or less: What would you and your family do if the Eiffel Tower was all yours for a night?

A panel of judges and HomeAway executives will pick the worthy winner based on their response. And before you ask, no you cannot just pay for a night’s stay as this kind of experience is priceless according to HomeAway’s Melanie Fish.

“Since staying in the Eiffel Tower was never before an option, there’s really no way to put a cost on a night in the HomeAway Eiffel Tower Apartment. Not only is this a once-in-a-lifetime chance, it’s also priceless. Legend has it that the tower’s designer, Gustave Eiffel, was frequently offered large sums of money for a stay in the Eiffel Tower, and always said no.”
