Lewis’ first serious relationship was with Jodia Ma, whom he met while studying at the Cambridge School of Arts and Sciences in London. The daughter of a Hong Kong businessman, Ma had a four-year relationship with Hamilton. The pair split in 2007 when Lewis was starting his Formula 1 career.

The next relationship that Lewis Hamilton had was his longest and it was also the closest that the seven-time world champion got to getting married. Lewis and former Pussycat Dolls singer Nicole Scherzinger dated on and off between 2007 and 2015. The pair first met at the 2007 MTV Europe Music Awards in Munich and began an eight-year romance.
In 2014, it looked like the couple was headed to the altar as Hamilton hinted that marriage could be in their future.
“I’m certainly feeling pressure, heat from family members,” he told E! News. “But Nicole’s massively focused on her work the same as I am. We’re happy just the way we are.” However, he did add that marriage at “one point…will be for us.”
They broke up a couple of times before but in 2015, they ended their relationship for good because both were too busy with their respective careers, especially Lewis’.
“It’s similar to most sportsmen and women. It may be slightly different in that we are travelling as much as we are, and you are just away for crazy amounts of time,” Hamilton told the Daily Mirror.
“So that’s probably an additional weight that makes it really, really tough to hold down a good relationship, and if things aren’t quite perfect. In general for athletes, having the right mindset and trying to find the right balance of how dedicated you are as opposed to resting back and enjoying your quality time, it’s different for everyone.”

Following the split, Hamilton would go on to record his best-ever era in Formula 1, securing the Drivers’ World Championship in four out of the subsequent five seasons (2015, 2017, 2018, 2019, 2020), with Mercedes winning the Constructors’ Championships an unprecedented seven years in a row.

After her breakup with Nicole, Lewis was rumoured to have dated singer Rihanna. The two were first spotted together during the annual Crop Over Festival in Barbados in 2015.
However, the two never admitted to having a relationship with Hamilton saying that Rihanna was just a good friend whom he enjoyed spending time with.

The following year, British singer Rita Ora was seen cheering Lewis at the 2016 Abu Dhabi Grand Prix and the rumour mill started running. They were spotted together several times but neither confirmed a romance.

At the 2016 Cannes Festival, Hamilton met model Barbara Palvin and the two had dinner several times. Palvin even attended the 2016 Monaco Grand Prix which Hamilton won.

Interestingly, Jenner was also in attendance at the 2016 Monaco Grand Prix in support of the British racing driver and was even spotted wearing one of Hamilton’s signature gold chains during the race. The two were later seen vacationing on a yacht off Cannes but the rumours linking Hamilton to both Jenner and Palvin subsided as the F1 season continued.

Hamilton also dated Lionel Richie’s model daughter Sofia despite a 14-year age gap. The couple had several lunch and dinner dates in the U.S. which fueled rumors of a budding relationship. But as with the other girls he was linked to, nothing serious emerged from their dates.

Throughout the years, Lewis Hamilton has been spotted attending several fashion events with some of his many brand partners, such as Tommy Hilfiger. The rumour mill began to churn after the British F1 driver was pictured with global superstar Nicki Minaj at several of these shows, with many wondering if the pair had started dating.
It was suggested the pair had met in 2016 during New York Fashion Week and were even photographed together at Wang’s Spring fashion show.
They popped up together in 2018 at Tommy Hilfiger, also in New York, which is where the rumours originated after Hamilton shared cosy snaps of the two of them at the afterparty onto his socials. They were later seen staying at the same hotel in Dubai and later enjoying a few activities out in the dunes.

South American superstar Shakira had just split in a high-profile divorce from Spanish footballer Gerard Piqué when she became the latest in a string of celebrities closely linked with the Mercedes driver. As rumours persisted, Shakira was frequently seen attending F1 races around the world and joining Hamilton before and after the race in Mercedes’s camp at the Miami Grand Prix.
The pair were spotted on a boat trip after the race and the following month, Shakira flew to watch Lewis finish P2 at the 2023 Spanish Grand Prix. They went to dinner after the race but there hasn’t been a confirmation of a relationship from either party… but the pics don’t lie.
