Rolex had Baselworld swooning again this year when they unveiled an updated version of last year’s ref. 126710 BLRO GMT-Master II in a cool new colourway – ‘Batman’ colours to be precise.
A splash of black and blue on the Cerachrome bezel now belongs to Rolex’s latest offering which is actually different to the ‘Batman’ GMT-Master II released back in 2013. This new model rocks the latest calibre 3285 movement which utilises the Chronergy escapement that can regulate the watch to +2/-2 seconds per day. It also receives the new Jubilee bracelet and Oysterlock clasp.
Given that Rolex have discontinued the old ‘Batman’ model and the all black bezel GMT Master II, you can bet that there’ll be a high demand for this one. We don’t blame them – it’s a damn fine looking watch which we’d personally pick over the ‘Pepsi’ bezel.
