It’s alleged that British Formula 1 driver Lewis Hamilton has been romantically involved with the Queen of Latin music herself, Shakira, following her high-profile divorce from footballer Gerard Piqué last year.
Are Lewis Hamilton and Shakira dating?
Shakira first met Hamilton during the 2023 Miami Grand Prix and was a guest in the Mercedes paddock, but after the chequered flag fell on another North American circuit, the pair were spotted along with several friends in a boat outing in Miami.
A month later, Shakira was in attendance at the 2023 Spanish Grand Prix in Barcelona, cheering Lewis Hamilton to secure P2.
The couple joined a group of friends including Daniel Cesar, Fai Khadra, and Mustafa for dinner and drinks. In one of their group photos, Hamilton was seated next to Shakira with his arm around her waist. That’s when the dating rumours between the two began.
Shakira was spotted once again during Hamilton’s home race at Silverstone during the 2023 British Grand Prix, cheering Hamilton from the Mercedes paddock as he found the podium for the second consecutive race.
Last August, Spanish media reported that Hamilton and Shakira were seen together in a holiday villa in Ibiza and that the two have been more than just friends in recent months. Later that month, however, the same tabloids said that the two had decided to end things.
