Hugh Grant Blames Moisturiser For Looking Like A 62-Year-Old ‘Scrotum’

A balls-to-the-wall moment.

Hugh Grant Blames Moisturiser For Looking Like A 62-Year-Old ‘Scrotum’

Celebrities at the 2023 Oscars have mostly been pretty well-behaved… Except for Hugh Grant, who’s quickly become the talk of the town thanks to his ‘I don’t give a f*ck’ attitude.

The 62-year-old actor first had tongues wagging after an excruciatingly awkward interview he had on the red carpet with model and TV host Ashley Graham, where he shut her down at almost every turn.

When she asked “What was it like to be in Glass Onion? How fun is it to shoot something like that?”, he responded by saying “Well I’m barely in it, I was in it for about three seconds.” He only got more dismissive from there.

“What are you wearing tonight?” “My suit.” “Who made it?” “My tailor.” “Who are you rooting for?” “No-one in particular.” You get the picture. Needless to say, he’s been roasted online for his ‘a**hole’ responses.

But he redeemed himself later during the Oscars ceremony itself, where his characteristic self-effacing humour lightened up what’s been a rather dry awards show (especially without anyone slapping anyone else, like last year).

Grant presented the Best Production Design award with his Four Weddings and a Funeral co-star Andie MacDowell, during which he had a crack at his own appearance.

“The purpose of this is twofold… The first is to raise the vital importance of a good moisturiser. Andie has used one every day of her life, I have not.”

“[She is] still stunning… “[I’m] basically a scrotum.”

Oh, Hugh… Never change.
