Drake Rocked A $300,000 Watch With A $35 Hoodie To The NBA Playoffs

Drake is no stranger to high end watches that could rival the salary of a dodgy heart surgeon. With everything from Audemar Piguets, Rolexes and Richard Milles in his wrist candy rotation, it’s little surprise that the man showed up to the 2019 NBA Playoffs between the Philadelphia 76ers and the Toronto Raptors in a US$300,000 timepiece.

The watch in question? Richard Mille’s RM 11-03 Flyback Chronograph custom finished in an 18K diamond rose gold case.

In standard trim the watch retails for US$115,000 for the ‘plain’ titanium version, US$130,000 for the titanium-rose gold combo and US$160,000 for the all rose gold. In other words the diamonds alone almost double the cost of the watch.

Garment-wise, the Canadian rapper didn’t rock his own OVO label for once, instead opting for a cool Breaker High hoodie which is the name of a 90s television show that starred Ryan Gosling and revolved around a high school on a cruise ship (as you do). The $35 hoodie was paired with a casual pair of jeans and white Nike Airforce 1 sneakers.

Who wouldn’t be happy with $300,000 wrapped around their wrist? Well, perhaps the same guy with a $750,000 watch around their wrist. And proving that this isn’t a once-off look, here’s Drake donning the hoodie with a Rolex at Wimbledon last year.
